Property Maintenance - Seasonal
What you’ll do
-
You will participate in weekly Staff Training for 4 - 6 weeks in the Spring

You will maintain our outdoor pool and hot tubs
-
You will supervise the camper’s needs in the evenings and support the Recreational Directors activities
-
You will assist the Maintenance Manager with all Lawn care needs: mowing, trimming, blowing
-
You will be responsible for general maintenance of the campground: cleaning fire pits, cleaning equipment
-
You will develop your social and communication skills in Customer/camper interaction

You will have a variety of tasks including Building custodial & office tasks
What we’re looking for
-
Ability to work evenings and every other weekend for 40+ hours per week in the Spring & Summer (after school/exams are finished) and minimum 8 hours per week from Sept 1 to Nov 30. Training is to start at the beginning of April. More hours are available if requested. Hours of operation vary between 8am & 12 midnight.

Be able to work outside in all types of weather and be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

Aptitude to learn motorized equipment use (Including an antique tractor) and in pool maintenance

Desire to provide an atmosphere of campers’ enjoyment

customer service skills to offer support to store staff in Camp Store
Reception/Store/Cleaning
What you’ll do
-
you will report to the General Manager of Operations, and trained by Store Assistant

You will participate in weekly Staff Training for 4 - 6 weeks in the Spring

You will register & process camping reservations online
-
You will process payments using cash register & Interac machine
-
You will show camping guests to their campsites, using a golf cart
-
You will answer phones & in-person customer inquiries
-
You will develop your social skills in Customer/camper interaction

You will have a variety of tasks including light custodial, gardening & office tasks
What we’re looking for
-
Ability to work evenings and every other weekend for 30-40 hours per week in the Spring & Summer (after school/exams are finished) and minimum 8 hours per week from Sept 1 to Nov 30. Training is to start at the beginning of June. More hours are available if requested. Hours of operation vary between 8am & 12 midnight.

Aptitude to learn various skills: painting, hot tub & pool maintenance

Desire to provide an atmosphere of campers’ enjoyment

Preferred: customer service skills & experience with motorized lawn equipment

Aspire to cross train: to learn job duties for other staff positions

Preferred: First Aid Training
