Our family was so impressed by our week experience at Green Acre that we just had to give feedback. 2 adults + 2 children (ages 4&7) stayed on site #125 directly across from the playground and what an awesome site for the kids to play in the park, have hours of fun in the pool, and lots of room for them to bike with freedom. Our children made instant friends with all the other children and with so much to do, the kids went "electronics" free for the whole week ..yeah ! The evening Tractor rides were a big hit for the kids .. our son catching a fish in the pond is a memory that both he and I will never forget. The washrooms/showers are so clean and maintained, the park/grounds well groomed, flower beds lovely, the pool was very clean, playgrounds well maintained... but .. What left an impression more so was the friendliness of the entire Staff (office / grounds crew) .. we don't realize they see hundreds of campers each season and yet every morning or evening, they always had a smile for us and were willing to help anyway they could, fantastic spirit and customer service ... Steve & Staff, thank you for a fantastic week stay and hope to see you next year for a 2 week stay. To the owners, thank you for providing a place for our children to experience and build memories that will last a lifetime.
I have to say that Green Acre Park is the absolute prettiest park I have ever been in. I've been in many parks, including one I grew up in, and I have never seen such a pristine place. I remember thinking why stay at a park with no lake, what's the point? Well, they answered that question for me last weekend. The point they made was loud and clear. It is so pretty, it's like being in a story book, I can't describe it, you have to see it for yourself. Everything was not only beautiful but well thought out and well maintained, including the beautiful laundry facilities. I will definitely recommend Green Acre Park to everyone & I look forward to returning. Thanks!
We have just finished a five week stay at Green Acre in our 40' motorhome and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This park is one of the friendliest of the many we have camped in, From my first contacts with Trish, Carly and Steve arranging our reservation, or seeking info from the smiling, young women at the desk, to the helpful, young men hired on for the summer, and the friendly lady who cleans the clubhouse on Mondays, it is abundantly clear that friendly customer service is the priority at this Park. This same friendly attitude is reflected in the Green Acre Park community. Our neighbours across the street made us feel most welcome. It truly is a family-friendly park. The many amenities offered engage the very young to the young at heart. The children's play area is fabulous as is the peaceful tranquility of the Koi pond.The pool is heated and there are 2 hot tubs. I could go on and on but you can read the amenities list yourself. One thing is certain - you should never hear anyone say they are "bored". In addition the park is immaculately clean. The location is country yet one is only minutes away from whatever shopping you desire. I also would like to thank Workkamper Brenda for finding me a place that allowed me to finish a quilt .... much appreciated! We highly recommend you visit this RV park you won't be disappointed.
On behalf of our Rendezvous committee and our entire WBCCI Ontario Airstream RV Club, we would like to thank you and your staff for providing us with an exceptional venue and service, which made this Fall Rendezvous a great success. We had many members rave about the sites, how clean the washrooms were and how the hall was perfect for our group. In fact many members were so impressed that they indicated, that they would be back to camp at Green Acre Park, in the future.
When I first came on the grounds at Green Acre park I was impressed by the natural beauty and even in the few minutes that I spent walking around, there seemed to be a welcoming sense of community. Although nervous to spend a month in somewhat smaller accommodations with two young children, it actually brought us closer together. The kids loved the freedom and I loved the safety of the outside park, pool, fire pit, and recreational hall. How many kids could say they were having a bon fire on a school night in September? The staff are all very friendly, happy and any problems were dealt with very timely. I am sad to leave such a peaceful environment. Congrats to the staff who work daily to keep it looking like paradise. Thanks again, hope to return soon.
